My friend Tess and I were on a phone conversation last night. It was the longest phone conversation we have had ever. Her voice was full of excitement and I was just so happy listening to her and asking all the questions I could think of that time.

Tess is an exchange student in London. She has been there for three years now. She is one of my good friends and we grew up together in the same neighbourhood. We went to the same school from elementary to highschool and had constant communication when we were already in college. She applied for a scholarship in London a year after college graduation. Despite Tess' busy schedule in school we always find time to talk over the phone at least twice a month.

I cannot help but scream in excitement last night when she told me that she went to a party which was organized by a London dating site. Tess joined this london dating site few months ago just for fun of chatting with interesting guys online. I never thought she would take a step further by actually attending the dating party.

"He is so handsome and a real gentleman!", Tess said. Her voice was full of joy and she sounded thrilled. "His name is Adam and he is the most attractive guy I have ever met. Although it was just a brief encounter I knew he liked me too!", Tess continued. "He rang me last night and made a proposal for a dinner date this weekend!", Tess blurted out.

Tess was doubly thrilled when I told her the news that my tourist visa to London was already approved. Tess and I have been waiting for this visa for a couple of months already. We started planning about all the things that we are going to do once I arrive in London. She also advised me to register with the London dating site when I get the chance so that we can attend together a dating party when I get there. The thought of me registering in a London dating site gives me a laugh. I have never imagined that I will ever be interested in joining a site like that. My heart though is feeling some weird nerves. I am thinking that maybe this is the way that I and my future boyfriend are destined to meet.

Tess and I finished our phone conversation at nearly midnight already. We are both looking forward to my trip to London. I cannot wait to get there and be with my best friend.
