I laughed. The thing is that all I knew about dating websites was that they were the best way to meet women without having to shell out a fortune on bad dates. "Billy, mate, if you want to hook up with someone who suits you dating websites are your best bet."

I don't think Billy believed me at first. It's hard for people to believe in things outside their own experience and Billy hadn't had a lot of luck with women.
